Time lapse testing…
I was just testing a time lapse video with my webcam earlier. It captures a photo every 20 seconds, and in the video each captured photo is played back every 0.125 seconds.
I was suprised how quickly it got dark!

This is the mapped wifi signal from the Roundabout pub. I traced it using a laptop, and mapped out limit of the signal.
The red area shows the area in which the signal could be recieved, or where we could recieve it. The source is the building on the corner, shown below;
We needed to pick a destination to run a trace route to. We chose Auckland University (www.auckland.ac.nz).
The results;

We went out a few nights ago to collect information about our place of interest, the civic center on royal parade.
The following four photographs are taken from each corner looking towards the center of the area.
Within this area, were four street lights at each corner, where the above photos were taken. At each corner we recorded audio for 1 minute. We also took note of how many Bluetooth signals were available, as well as WiFi networks.
First Corner
Wifi & Bluetooth
Second Corner
Wifi, Bluetooth, Aerials & Internet
Third Corner
Wifi & Bluetooth
Fourth Corner

After the lecture about models, and how the style of image can give different perceptions of depth and scale, I started messing about in Photoshop and came up with these;

It gives the same impression as a wireframe cube would give. You can look at it in two different ways. Either the white sides are closer to you, or the black sides are closer, it just depends on how you look at it.
This my system drawing so far. It was made from the movement i noticed in bens forearm in the collage.
This was the second attempt we took at doing the collage. I ended up using less photos in this one, but it’s easier to distinguish the movement as there isn’t as many photos overlapping each other.
Light
For light, i decided to use white lines flowing from the source. When the lines overlapped a shaded, or darker part of the collage, i shaded the line accordingly.
